E-mail-assistedlanguageteachingisatthefore-frontoftheadvancesineducationaltoolsinEFLteaching.ButisitpossibletocreateEFLcommunica-tiveenvironmentbyE-mailandInternetinChineseuniversities?CanwetotallyadoptCAbyE-mailandInternetinWesterncountriesintoChineseuniversi-ties?ItisevidentthatCompletelytransferringittoChineseeducationalcontextisirrationalandwillulti-matelyfail.Thus,successdependsonreconcilingE-mail-assistedEFLteachingwithtraditionalChineseapproaches.Thispaperisdesignedtomakeperspec-tivesonthisreconciliation,andpresentssomedisad-vantagesofusingE-mailandInternetinteaching.
