Inthispaper,acoupledsea-atmosphere-cloudclimaticmodelissetup.Qualitativeanalysisshowsthatthesystemexistsatleastinfivepossibleequilibriumstates,andnotfourastraditionallyconsidered.NumericalsimulationstatedthatwhenwedonotconsiderthefeedbackofcloudstheSSTwillraise0.96Kand0.97Krespectivelyastheconcentra-tionsofCO2risefrom280ppmand330ppmto560ppmand660ppm.WhenweconsiderthefeedbacktheSSTrisesonlyabout0.51Kundersameconditions.SogreenhouseeffectofCO2islessenedincertainextent.
