Inalargeareaoftheeast—centralAsiancontinentthereisaunifiedseismicnetworksystemcomposedoftwofamiliesoflarge—seismicbeltsthatintersectconjugately.Suchaseismicnetworkinthemiddle—uppercrustisactuallyaresponsetotheplasticflownetworkinthelowerlithosphereincludingthelowercrustandlithosphericmantle.TheexistenceoftheunifiedplasticflowsystemconfirmsthatthedrivingforceforintraplatetectonicdeformationresultsmainlyfromthecompressionoftheIndiaplate,whilethelong-rangetransmissionoftheforceiscarriedoutchieflybymeansofplasticflow.Theplasticflownetworkhasacontrolovertheintraplatetectonicdeformation.
