摘要 InaccordancewiththeLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaonMarineEnvironmentalProtectionandthemandateentrustedbytheStateCouncil,theStateOceanicAdministrationofChina(SOA)organizedandconductedmarineenvironmentalsurveillance,monitoringandassessmentfortheseaareasunderChina'sjurisdictionin2010withaviewtoknowingwelltheoverallenvironmentalstatusoftheseaareas,safeguardingthesocialandpublicsecurity,promotingthetransformationofeconomicdevelopmentpatternsinthecoastalareasandeffectivelyservingthesustainabledevelopmentofmarineeconomy.Basedontheresultsofthesurveillance,monitoringandassessment,the'BulletinofChina'sEnvironmentalStatusfortheYearof2010'hasbeenpreparedandisnowissued.
