摘要
Wereviewtherecenttheoreticalstudyontheopticalpropertiesofone-dimensionalsoftphotoniccrystals（1DSPCs）withferrofluids.Theproposedstructureiscomposedofalternatingferrofluidlayersanddielectriclayers.Fortheferrofluid,singledomainferromagneticnanoparticlescanaligntoachainunderthestimuliofanexternalmagneticfield,thuschangingthemicrostructureofthesystem.Meanwhile,nonlinearopticalresponsesinferrofluidsarealsobrieflyreviewed.
