摘要 Intergranularslowcrackgrowthinzirconiapolycrystalisdescribedwithacohesivezonemodelthatsimulatemechanicallythereaction-rupturemechanismunderlyingstressandenvironmentallyassistedfailure.A2Dpolycrystalisconsideredwithcohesivesurfacesinsertedalongthegrainboundaries.Theanisotropicelasticmodulusandgrain-to-grainmisorientationareaccountedfortogetherwithaninitialstressstaterelatedtotheprocessing.Aminimumloadthresholdisshowntooriginatefromtheonsetofthereaction-rupturemechanismtoproceedwhereaminimumtractionisreachedlocallyandfromthemagnitudeoftheinitialcompressionstresses.Thisworkaimsatprovidingreliablepredictionsinlonglastingapplicationsofceramics.
