Geological and geochemical characteristics of basalts from Hardat Tolgoi Mine, Inner Mongolia, China

摘要 BasaltsfromHardatTolgoiMinewerestudiedsystematicallybyusingpetrochemicalandisotopegeochemicalmethodsinordertodiscusstheirchemicalproperties,diageneticmaterialsourcesandtectonicenvironment.Theanalysisresultsindicatethatthealkalibasaltsarecharacterizedbylowsilicaandhighalkalinic(Na>K)andiron-titaniumcontents.Thedistributionpatternsoftherareearthelements(REE)arethe'rightist'type,whichtypicallyshowevidentfractionationbetweenlightREEsandheavyREEswith(La/Yb)Nratiosfrom8.04to10.4,butnosignificantnegativeEuanomalieswereobserved(δEu=1.01to1.04).Thebasaltsarerelativelyenrichedinlargeionlithophileelements(LILE,Ba,Sr)andhighfieldstrengthelements(HFSE,Nb,Ta,Hf).Ratiosof206Pb/204Pbvarybetween18.434and18.550,ratiosof207Pb/204Pbarebetween15.541and15.569,andratiosof208Pb/204Pbarebetween38.331and38.536.Thediageneticsubstanceisbelievedfromtheasthenosphericmantleandinintraplateenvironment,whichwasconstructedduringcontinentstretch,withoutbeingsignificantlycontaminatedbycrustalmaterials.
