摘要
JellyfishfishingisaspecialtypeoffisherythatmainlyexistsinsomecountriesofEastandSoutheastAsia.Chinahasthelargestjellyfishfisheryyieldintheworldwithanannualharvestofaround300thousandtons.LiaodongBayisthemostimportantjellyfishfisherygroundinChina.However,duetothehighbenefitsofjellyfishfishery,whichleadstoillegalandout-of-seasonjellyfishfishingoccurringeachyearinLiaodongBay.IllegaljellyfishfisheryinLiaodongBayisatypicalexampleofthetragedyofthecommons.Thekeyproblemisthatfishermenseektoanillegallyinitiatejellyfishfishingasearlyaspossible.Inthispaper,basingonthedataofediblejellyfish’sbiologyandecology,wemainlyanalyzedthehistoryofjellyfishfisheryinChina,especiallyinLiaodongbay,andthenwecalculatedthecarrycapacityofediblejellyfishinLiaodongBaywhichisabout300thousandtonsoneyear.ThisnumberisequaltotherecentannualyieldofediblejellyfishinChina.Furthermore,basingonthecarrycapacityandreasonablequotaspriceanalysis,wesetupaJellyfishfishingquotasanddeficitquotasbuybacksystemwhichcouldbeasuitableandeffectivesolutionforjellyfishfisherymanagementanddevelopmentinLiaodongBayattheunderlyingroots.AlthoughChinaisthefirstcountrywithediblejellyfishaquaculture,theannualyieldofjellyfishaquacultureisonlyonefifthofjellyfishfishing.So,thereisaverybrightdevelopingprospectaboutediblejellyfishaquacultureinChina.
