摘要
About26sedimentarybasinsbearingoilandgasaredevelopedinChina.Theycanbeclassifiedintotwomaintypes,extensionalbasinsandforelandbasins.Theformerarechieflydistributedintheeasternpartandthelatterinthecentralandnorthwesternpartsofthecountry.Thepresentpaperdiscussesthestructuralcharacteristicsofthesebasins,includingsubsidencehistory,thermalhistoryandstructuralstyleandkinematics.Combinedwithtectonicsettinganalysisofgeophysicaldataanderuptiverocks,thegeodynamicsettingofthebasinsisestablished,andtheformationmechanismofthebasinsisdeducedtohavebeenrelatedtothesubductionoftheIzanagiandwestPacificplatesandtheclosingoftheTethysocean.
