3Dprintingisdisruptingthedesignandmanufactureofelectronicproducts.3Dprintingelectronicsoffersgreatpotentialtobuildcomplexobjectwithmultiplefunctionalities.Particularly,ithasshowntheuniqueabilitytomakeembeddedelectronics,3Dstructuralelectronics,conformalelectronics,stretchableelectronics,etc.3Dprintingelectronicshasbeenconsideredasthenextfrontierinadditivemanufacturingandprintedelectronics.Overthepastfiveyears,alargenumberofstudiesandeffortsregarding3Dprintingelectronicshavebeencarriedoutbybothacademiaandindustries.Inthispaper,acomprehensivereviewofrecentadvancesandsignificantachievementsin3Dprintingelectronicsisprovided.Furthermore,theprospects,challengesandtrendsof3Dprintingelectronicsarediscussed.Finally,somepromisingsolutionsforproducingelectronicswith3Dprintingarepresented.
