Cable-membranestructureshavesmallrigidityandarehighlysensitivetowind.Structuralhealthmonitoringisnecessarytoensuretheserviceabilityandsafetyofthestructure.Inthisresearch,thedesignmethodofastructuralhealthmonitoringsystemisusingthecharacteristicsofacable-membranestructure.TakingtheYueyangSanheAirportTerminalasanexample,afiniteelementmodelisestablishedtodeterminethecriticalstructuralcomponents.Next,theengineeringrequirementsandtheframeworkofthemonitoringsystemarestudiedbasedontheresultsofnumericalanalysis.Thespecificimplementationofthestructuralhealthmonitoringisthencarriedout,whichincludessensorselection,installationandwiring.TheproposedframeworkissuccessfullyappliedtothemonitoringsystemfortheYueyangAirportterminalbuilding,andthesynchronousacquisitionoffiberBragggratingandaccelerationsensorsignalsisimplementedinaninnovativeway.Thesuccessfulimplementationandoperationofstructuralhealthmonitoringwillhelptoguaranteethesafetyofthecablemembranestructureduringitsservicelife.
