A New Algorithm for the Weighted Reliability of Networks

摘要 Theweightedreliabilityofnetworkisdefinedasthesumofthemultiplicationoftheprobabilityofeachnetworkstatebyitsnormalizedweightingfactor.Underacertainstate,whenthecapacityformsourcestosinktislargerthanthegivenrequiredcapacityCr,thenthenormalizedweightingfactoris1,otherwise,itistheratioofthecapacitytotherequiredcapacityCr.Thispaperproposesanewalgorithmfortheweightedreliabilityofnet-works,putsforwardtheconceptofsaturatedstateofcapacity,andsuggestsarecursiveformulaforexpandingtheminimalpathstobethesumofqualifyingsubsets.Inthenewalgorithm,theexpansionsoftheminimalpathsdon'tcreatetheirrelevantqualifyingsubsets,thusdecreasingtheunnecessaryexpandingcalculation.Comparedwiththecurrentalgorithms,thisalgorithmhastheadvantageofasmallamountofcomputationsforcomputerimplementa-tion.
