Study on the value of exogenous bFGF in the treatment of brain injury

摘要 Objective:ToinvestigatetherelationbetweennecrosisandapoptosisinthehippocampusofexogenousbFGFonthisprocess.Methos:WithMarmarou'smethodweproducedaseverediffusebraininjuryandstudiedthechangesinthehippocampusbyadaptingamodifiedTdT-mediateddUTP-biotinnickendlabeling(TUNEL)method.AtthesametimeweobservedtheeffectofexogenousbFGFonneuronalnecrosisandapoptosis.Results:WefoundthattogetherwithcellnecrosistherewasanincreaseinthenumberofapoptoticneuronsinthehippocampusCA2-3sectorsasearlyas4hafterinjury,withnumbersreachingamaximumat7d.ExogenousbFGFresultedinadefinitereductionintheamountofnecrosisandapoptosis.Conclusions:NeuronalnecrosisandapoptosisoccurincombinationafterbraininjuryandthatoneofthecausesmaybetheinsufficienceexpressionofthebFGFgeneinthehippocampusaftersevereinjury.ExogenousbFGFandsimilarsubstancemayproveclinicallyusefulafterbraininjurybyreducingcellnecrosisandapoptosis.
