Classification of Ferrallitc Soils in Chinese Soil Taxonomy-中国期刊网

摘要 ThedevelopmentoftheclassificationofferralliticsoilsinChinaisreviewedandtheclassificationofFerralisolsandFerrisolsinChineseSoilTaxonomyisintroducedinordertodiscussthecorrelationbetweentheferralliticsoilclassificationintheChineseSoilTaxonomyandthoseoftheothersoilclassificationsystems.IntheformersoilclassificationsystemsofChina,theferralliticsoilswereclassifiedintothesoilgroupsofLatosols,Latosoilcredsoils,Redsoils,YellowsoilsandDryredsoils,accordingtothecombinationofsoilformingconditions,soil-formingprocesses,Soilfeaturesandsoilproperties.IntheChineseSoilTaxonomy,mostofferralliticsoilsareclassifiedintothesoilordersofFerralisolsandFerrisolsbasedonthediagnostichorizonsand/ordiagnosticcharacteristicswithquantitativelydefinedproperties.Ferralisolsarethesoilsthathaveferralichorizon,andtheyaremerelysubdividedintoonesuborderandtwosoilgroups.FerrisolsarethesoilsthathaveLAC-ferrichorizonbutdonothaveferralichorizon.andtheyaresubdividedintothreesubordersandelevensoilgroups.FerralisolsmaycorrespondtopartofLatosolsandLatosolicredsoils.FerrisolsmayeithercorrespondtopartofRedsoils,YellowsoilsandDryredsoils,orcorrespondtopartofLatosolsandLatosolicredsoils.
