NONMONOTONE PRECONDITIONALCURVILINEAR PATH ALGORITHMS FOR UNCONSTRAINED OPTIMIZATION

摘要 Thispaperpresentsnonmonotonicquasi-Newtonalgorithmsviatwopre-conditionalcurvilinearpaths,thepreconditionalmodifiedgradientpathandtheprecon-ditionaloptimalpath,forunconstrainedoptimizationproblem.WeemploythestableBunch-Parlettfactorizationmethodtoformtwocurvilinearpathsveryeasily.Thenonmonotonecriterionisusedtospeeduptheconvergenceprogressinthecontoursofobjectivefunctionwithlargecurvature.Theoreticalanalysesaregivenwhichprovethattheproposedalgorithmsaregloballyconvergentandhavealocalsuperlinearcon-vergencerateundersomereasonableconditions.Theresultsofnumericalexperimentsarereportedtoshowtheeffectivenessoftheproposedalgorithms.
