Thefeasibilityofmoni-toringthechangeofcitysettlementusingGPSsurveyinginsteadoflevel-ingisstudied.AfiducialnetworkandamonitoringnetworkareestablishedinNingbocity.TwoperiodsofGPSobservationarecompleted.Somemeasuresaretakenduringtheobser-vationinordertoensuretoobtainthehigh-preciseheightcomponent.TheSaastamoinenmodelisadoptedinthedataprocessingofthedrycomponentpartofthetroposphericdelay.Thewetcomponentchangeofthetropo-sphericdelayisestimatedbystochasticprocessesmodel.WhenBernesesoft-wareisusedtoprocessthedata,themillimeterlevelprecisionofheightmeasuringisachieved.
