SYNTHESIS OF BOWL-LIKE PARTICLES BY EMULSION POLYMERIZATION AND RELEASE BEHAVIOR OF SOLVENT FROM THE PARTICLES-中国期刊网

摘要 Poly(styrene-glycidylmethacrylate)particleshavingbowl-shapedhollowstructuresweresynthesizedbyswollenseedemulsionpolymerization.ThePSemulsionsynthesizedthroughsoap-freeemulsionpolymerizationwasswollenbytoluene,andthenthemixtureofsecondmonomerswasaddedunderpolymerizationcondition.Soathinshellofpoly(styrene-glycidylmethacrylate)cross-linkedbytriethyleneglycoldiacrylatewasformedaroundtheswollenPSparticle.Thebowl-shapedparticleswereobtainedafterthecollapsingofthethinshellwhenthetolueneemanatedfromtheparticles,buttheshapeswereeffectedbythedegreesofcross-linking.TheshapeoftheparticleswasobservedbySEM.ThereleasebehaviorofsolventfromtheparticleswasexaminedbyTG.
