Modelling of Microstructural Evolution and Prediction of Mechanical Properties of Plain Carbon Strip Steel in Hot Rolling Process

摘要 Basedonhotrollingproductionlineofstripsteel,theof-linein-housesoftware,termedasROLLAN(RollingAnalysis),isdeveloped.Thecodeismainlyusedtopredicttheevolutionoftemperature,rollingforce,fractionandgrainsizeofrecrystallization,fractionandgrainsizeofphasetransformationandfinalmechanicalproperties.Almostalltheprocessingparametersaffectingmicrostructureandmechanicalpropertiesintheschedulefromreheatingtothecoilingprocessareconsideredindetail.Self-learningcoefficientisadoptedtoadjustthedeviationbetweenpredictedandmeasuredtemperatures,suchasroughingexittemperature(RT2),finishingexittemperature(FT7)andcoilingtemperature(CT).Duetotheapplicationoflow-speed-threading,increasing-speed-rollinganddecreasing-speeddeliveryprocessduringfinishingrollinganddifferentcoolingcondition,aftercoilingthethermal-mechanicalhistoryofdifferentposition,alongstriplongitudinaldirectionisdifferentresultingininhomogeneousmechanicalproperties.Sothesegmentsaredividedalonglongitudinaldirectiontoidentifythevariationofmicrostructureandmechanicalproperties.AnexampleofplaincarbonstripsteelQ235withvariousthicknessisusedtocomparethecalculatedmechanicalpropertieswithmeasuredones.ForthespecificgradeofQ235,themaximumdeviationoftensilestrengthislessthan10.3MPa,theyieldstrengthislessthan13.2MPa,andelongationislessthan1.99%.Furtherworkwillfocusontheon-lineapplicationandconsidertheeffectofmacrosegregationandsulfurcontentofcastslab.
