摘要 Dendriticcells(DCs)arerecognizedasthemostpotentantigen-presentingcells(APCs)withtheabilitytostimulatena(i)verestingTcellsandinitiateprimaryimmuneresponses.DCsarepoisedtocaptureantigen(Ag),migratetodraininglymphoidorgans,and,afteraprocessofmaturation,selectAg-specificlymphocytestowhichtheypresenttheprocessedAg,therebyinducingimmuneresponses.NumerousstudiesindicatedthatimmunotherapiesutilizingDC-presentingtumor-associatedantigenscansafelybeadministeredtocancerpatientsandinducesignificantimmunologicandclinicalresponses.Moreover,ithasbeendemonstratedthatDCsarerelatedtoclinicalstage,invasion,metastasisandprognosisofgastriccancer.DC-basedtumorvaccinesbecomeaneweffectiveimmunoadjuvanttherapyforgastriccancer.Cellular&MolecularImmunology.2004;1(5):351-356.
