AccordingaleadingpersonofChinaInstituteofAtomicEnergy(CIAE),thefirstexperimentalfastneutronreactorunderconstructionwiththermalpowerof65MWisproceedingsmoothly,andtheconstructiondesignhasbeenfinishedcompletely.ItisexpectedthatthereactorwillbefinishedandgocriticalinSeptember2009,andgenerateelectricityontrialinSeptember2010.
