摘要
Asthemainorganicpollutantinmunicipallivingwaste,kitchenwastecausessecondarypollutioninthecourseofitsbeinggatheredandtransportedtothelandfillbymixingwithotherrefuseandbydecomposition.Thismakespollutionpreventionmoredifficultandraisesthecostoflandfillengineering.However,theamountofsolidwastetobetreatedcanbedecreasedandsuchpollutionburdenlessenedbydisposingofthesolidwasteinlocalmunicipalareas.TheprograminBeijingalsoshowsthatthisworkswellwithoursituationinChinaandcanacceleratemarketizationandpublicparticipation.
