Static equilibrium model for the bead formation in high speed gas metal arc welding-中国期刊网

摘要 OnthebasisOftheYoung-LaplaceEquationthatdescribesthepressuredifferencebetweeneachsideofacurvedliquidsurface,astaticequilibriummodelisestablishedtodescribethesurfaceshapeoftheweldbead.Thegeo-metricalmodelforthemoltenpoolisincluded,whichisessentialtoexplaintheundercutphenomenonduringhighspeedbead-on-platewelding.Theresultsgotfromaniterationalgorithmshowthatitistheforcebalanceontheliquidmixtureofthedepositedmetalandthedepositedmetalandthemoltenbasemetalandthemoltenbasemetalthatcausestheundercut.Somefactorsandtheireffectsarealsoana-lyzed.
