PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF DISCRETE EVENT SYSTEMS INVOLVING HENSTOCK-KURZWEIL INTEGRAL

摘要 Thispaperpresentsastudyontheperformanceofflexiblemanufacturingsystems(FMSs),byusingdiscreteeventsystem(DES)models,consideringresourcelossesmodelledbyaparameterentitledcoveragefactor.WeconcludethattheresourcescelllossdistributionbetweenthetasksofaFSMisarealfunctionthatcannotbeintegrated,inordertocalculateitsprimitive,intheclassicalsenseofRiemannorLebesgue,butonlyinthesenseofHenstock-Kurzweilintegral.Ourresultallowsonetostudymoregeneralprocesseswherehighlyoscillatoryfunctionsoccur.Themethodusedtodeducethefunctiondescribingtheresourcescelllossdistributioniscomparedwithaclassicalmethodrelatedintheliterature,respectivelyrationalinterpolants.Anexamplehasbeenconstructedtoemphasizewhatwebelievetobe,newapproaches.
