摘要
FlowsaroundacircularcylinderdisplayinganunsteadyvortexsheddingprocessattheReynoldsnumbersof1000,3900and1×104arestudiedusingafinite-volumeTotalVariationDiminishing(TVD)schemeforsolvingtheUnsteadyReynolds-AveragedNavier-Stokes(URANS)equations.AnElementalVelocityVectorTransformation(EVVT)approachisproposedforthelocalnormalandtangentialvelocitytransformationattheinterfacesofmainandsatelliteelements.Thepresentedmethodisvalidatedbycomparingwiththeavailableexperimentaldataandnumericalresults.Itisshownthatthetwo-dimensionalTVDfinitevolumemethodwiththeRenormalizationGroup(RNG)turbulencemodelcanbeusedtodeterminehydrodynamicforcesandcapturesvortexsheddingcharacteristicsverywell.
