摘要
Regionaldroughtanalysisprovidesusefulinformationforsustainablewaterresourcesmanagement.Inthispaper,astandardizedprecipitationindex(SPI)atmultipletimescaleswasusedtoinvestigatethespatialpatternsandtrendsofdroughtintheHanRiverBasin,oneofthelargesttributariesofYangtzeRiver,China.Itwasfoundthat,intermsofdroughtseverity,theupperbasinoftheHanRiveristheleast,whilethegrowingtrendisthemostconspicuous;alessconspicuousgrowingtrendcanbeobservedinthemiddlebasin;andthereisaninsignificantdecreasingtrendinthelowerbasin.Meanwhile,theimpactofdroughtontheMiddleRouteoftheSouth-to-NorthWaterTransferProjectwasinvestigated,anditissuggestedthatwaterintakemustbereducedintimesofdrought,particularlywhensuccessiveorsimultaneousdroughtsintheupperandmiddlebasinsoftheHanRiverBasinoccur.TheresultscanprovidesubstantialinformationforfuturewaterallocationschemesoftheSouth-to-NorthWaterTransferProject.
