  • 简介:Fabry是一种X性连锁隐性遗传性疾病,1898年首次由皮肤科医生Anderson和JohannFabry各自报告1例,故名Andemon-Fabry,简称Fabry。本病患者由于基因突变导致细胞溶酶体中水解酶——啦半乳糖苷酶A(a2GalA)先天缺乏或活性降低,致使糖鞘脂成分如神经酰胺三己糖苷(CTH或称为Gb3),以及二乳糖苷神经酰胺等堆积于体内各器官,如肾脏、心血管系统、神经系统等,引起患者多个系统出现相应的临床表现如肢端疼痛和感觉异常、皮肤血管角质瘤、少汗、心血管损伤及肾衰竭等,故又称a2GalA缺乏症。

  • 简介:Fiber-opticFabry-Perot(F-P)sensorsarewidelyinvestigatedbecausetheyhaveseveraladvantagesoverconventionalsensors,suchasimmunitytoelectromagneticinterference,abilitytooperateunderbadenvironments,highsensitivityandthepotentialformultiplexing.Anewmethodtofabricatemicro-cavityFabry-Perotinterferometerisintroduced,whichisfusionsplicingasectionofconventionalsingle-modefiber(SMF)andasectionofhollowcoreorsolidcorephotoniccrystalfiber(PCF)togethertoformamicro-cavityatthesplicejoint.Thetechnologyoffusionsplicingisdiscussed,andtwominiatureopticalfibersensorsbasedonFabry-Perotinterferenceusingfusionsplicingarepresented.Thetwosensorsarecompletelymadeoffusedsilica,andhavegoodhigh-temperaturecapability.

  • 简介:Reflectorsareanessentialcomponentforon-chipintegratedphotonics.Here,weproposeanewmethodfordesigningreflectorsontheprevalentthin-film-on-insulatorplatformbyusinggenetic-algorithmoptimization.Insimulation,thedesignedreflectorwithafootprintofonly2.16μm×2.16μmcanachieve~97%reflectivityand1dBbandwidthaswideas220nm.Thestructureiscomposedofrandomlydistributedpixelsandishighlyrobustagainsttheinevitablecornerroundingeffectindevicefabrication.Inexperiment,wefabricatedon-chipFabry–Perot(FP)cavitiesconstructedfromoptimizedreflectors.ThoseFPcavitieshaveintrinsicqualityfactorsof>2000withthehighestvaluebeyond4000inaspectralwidthof200nm.ThereflectivityfittedfromtheFPcavityresonancesis>85%intheentirewavelengthrangeof1440–1640nmandisbeyond95%atsomewavelengths.ThefabricationprocessesareCMOScompatibleandrequireonlyonestepoflithographyandetch.Thedevicescanbeusedasastandardmoduleinintegratedphotoniccircuitryforwideapplicationsinon-chipsemiconductorlaserstructuresandopticalsignalprocessing.

  • 简介:摘要:分析了Fabry-Perot滤波器的工作原理,设计了基于全光纤Fabry-Perot滤波器的光谱检测装置,通过对滤波器中的压电陶瓷施加周期性的锯齿波电压,并采用内置光源对测试光谱进行校准,降低F-P滤波器迟滞效应对光谱检测准确度的影响,实现了1530nm~1570nm波段内的光谱检测,光谱分辨率0.2nm,波长准确度±0.05nm,可满足各类近红外半导体激光光源(如DFB-LD、SLD、FP-LD、LED等)的光谱特性、光纤及光纤放大器的光波传输特性、光纤传感器的反射特性等的L波段测试,与衍射光栅型光谱分析仪相比,具有体型小、测试速度快、成本低和便于模块化生产等优点。

  • 简介:采用Fabry-Perot(FP)的一个新奇紧缩的optoelectronic振荡器(OEO)反响电镀物品眼(EO)调节的人被建议并且试验性地示威了。反响的调节的人象模式选择元素一样被用作光存储元素,它能极大地减少系统复杂性并且使系统更便携式。而且,为FP反响的EO调节的人的光回声和电的传播反应理论上并且试验性地被学习。建议OEO在proof-of-concept实验,和噪音能分别地在1MHz偏移量频率在118和108dBc/Hz下面到达的相应单个边带的阶段在10和20GHz震荡。

  • 简介:Cavity-coupledplasmonicstructureisdemonstratedtobeasimpleandeffectivetooltomanipulatelight,enhancethebiosensingfigureofmerit,andcontrolthepolarizationstate.InthisLetter,wedemonstratethetunabilityofthechiropticaleffectofcavity-coupledchiralstructure,i.e.,sandwichchiralmetamaterials(SCMs),inwhichradiationcouplingdominatestheinteractionbetweenparticles.TwotypesofSCMswhosebuildingblocksare3Dchiraland2Dchiral,respectively,arenumericallystudied.Distinctresponsesareobservedinthesetwomaterials.Thechiropticaleffectcanbeeffectivelymanipulatedandenhancedinthe2Dcase,whiletheSCMsconsistingof3Dchirallayerskeepthechiropticaleffectaconstant.Atheoreticalanalysisbasedonmatrixopticsisdevelopedtoexplainthecorrespondingphenomena,whichgivesareasonableagreementwithnumericalsimulations.

  • 简介:Ahigh-precisionwavelengthcontrollerispresentedinthispaper.ItisnecessarytofindoutthedifferencebetweenthecentralwavelengthofatunablefiberFabry-Perot(FFP)filterandthatoftheinputlaser,whilethewavelengthcontrol-leroperatesatthestatesofwavelength-scanningandwavelength-lockingmodes.Firstly,adynamicsimulationmodeloftunableFFPfilterisestablished,andthedynamiccharacteristicoftunableFFPfiltermodulatedbyanalternatingcurrent(AC)signalissimulated.Thenthemeasuringtimeatwavelength-scanningmodecomparedwiththetheorytimeisdiscussed,andthistimedifferenceshowsthedifferencebetweenthecentralwavelengthofatunableFFPfilterandthatoftheinputlaser.Atlast,theeffectsonwavelength-lockingprecisionoftimedelays,includingthetimedelayofopened-loopcircuit,thetimeconstantoftheclosed-loopcircuitandtheintrinsichysteresisofpiezoelectric(PZT)element,areanalyzed.AwavelengthcontrolleroftunableFFPfilterisdesignedandprepared.Theexperimentalresultsatwavelength-lockingmodeshowthatahighlockingprecisionisobtained.

  • 简介:Byusingagraded-indexmultimodefiber(GI-MMF)witharelativelyflatindexprofileandhighrefractiveindexofthefibercore,amicroextrinsicfiber-opticFabryProtinterferometric(MEFPI)strainsensorisfabricatedthroughchemicaletchingandfusionsplicing.Higherreflectanceofthemicrocavityisobtainedduetotheless-curvedinnerwallinthecenterofthefibercoreafteretchingandhigherindexcontrastbetweentheGI-MMFcoreandair.Themaximumreflectionofthesensorisenhanced12dBthanthatobtainedbyetchingoftheEr-orB-dopedfibers.Highfringecontrastof22dBisobtained.ThestrainandtemperatureresponsesoftheMEFPIsensorsareinvestigatedinthisexperiment.Goodlinearityandhighsensitivityareachieved,withwavelength-strainandwavelength-temperaturesensitivitiesof7.82pm/μεand5.01pm/°C,respectively.

  • 简介:Wedevelopahybridoptofluidicmicrocavitybyplacingamicrospherewithadiameterrangingfrom1to4μminliquid-filledplano-planoFabry–Perot(FP)cavities,whichcanprovideanextremelyloweffectivemodevolumedownto0.3–5.1μm^3whilemaintainingahighQ-factorupto1×10^4–5×10^4andafinesseof~2000.Comparedtothepureplano-planoFPcavitiesthatareknowntosufferfromthelackofmodeconfinement,diffraction,andgeometricalwalk-offlossesaswellasbeinghighlysusceptibletomirrormisalignment,ourmicrosphere-integratedFP(MIFP)cavitiesshowstrongopticalconfinementinthelateraldirectionwithatightmoderadiusofonly0.4–0.9μmandhightolerancetomirrormisalignmentaslargeas2°.Withthemicrosphereservingasawaveguide,theMIFPisadvantageousoverafiber-sandwichedFPcavityduetotheopen-cavitydesignforanalytes/liquidstointeractstronglywiththeresonantmode,theeaseofassembly,andthepossibilitytoreplacethemicrosphere.Inthiswork,themaincharacteristicsoftheMIFP,includingQ-factor,finesse,effectivemoderadiusandvolume,andtheirdependenceonthesurroundingmedium’srefractiveindex,mirrorspacing,microspherepositioninsidetheFPcavity,andmirrormisalignment,aresystematicallyinvestigatedusingafinite-elementmethod.Then,byinsertingdye-dopedpolystyrenemicrospheresofvarioussizesintotheFPcavityfilledwithwater,weexperimentallyrealizesingle-modeMIFPoptofluidiclasersthathavealasingthresholdaslowasafewmicrojoulespersquaremillimeterandalasingspotradiusofonly~0.5μm.OurresultssuggestthattheMIFPcavitiesprovideapromisingtechnologyplatformfornovelphotonicdevicesandbiological/chemicaldetectionwithultra-smalldetectionvolumes.
