  • 简介:InfluenceofadditivesandcompositionofthematrixonmecharicalpropertiesofSialonbondedcorundumbrickwithappropriatenitridationsinteringcurvewasinvestigatedinpresentpaper.ThephasecompositionandmicrostructureofthesinteredspecimenwereanalyzedbymeansofSEMandXRD.Theresultsindicatethatwithappropriatecontentofultra-finealuminapowderandaditiveA,bothcoldandhotmechanicalpropertiesofspeimensarenotablyenhanced.Themicrostructureofspecimenisdenseandwithlessporosity,Mainphaseofthespecimeniscorundum,β-sialonisalsoobservedasthebondingphase,littleimpurityisobserved.

  • 简介:Tostudythemechanicalpropertiesofthefilm/substratestructure,thefiniteelementcodeABAQUSv6.9-1isadoptedtosimulatethetensilemechanicalbehaviorofthenanoscalethinfilmbondedtoasubstrate.Thebifurcationphenomenonofthestructureunderuniaxialtensionisfound:thesingle-neckdeformation,themultiple-neckdeformationandtheuniformdeformation.Thesubstrateandthefilmareregardedaspower-hardeningmaterialsobeyingtheJ2deformationtheory.Firstly,theinfluenceofmaterialhardeningmatchontensilebifurcationmodeisanalyzedunderperfectlywell-bondedinterfacecondition.Then,theeffectsofinterfacialstiffnessandothersuperficialdefectssurroundingtheimperfectiononbifurcationmodeareinvestigated.Itisconcludedthatunderthewell-bondedinterfacecondition,ifthestressofthesubstrateislargerthanthefilm,thefilmwilluniformlydeformwiththesubstrate;ifthestressofthesubstrateissmallerthanthefilm,thefilmwillformasingleneck,exceptthecasethataweakly-hardeningfilmisbondedtoasteeply-hardeningsubstratewhenmultipleneckscanbeformed.Withthedecreaseofinterfacialstiffness,theuniformdeformationmodecantransformintothemultiple-neckdeformationmode,andfurthertransformintothesingle-neckdeformationmode.Andotherdefectssurroundingtheimperfectioncaninfluencethewavelengthofdeformationandnecknumber.

  • 简介:ThermalcharacteristicsarenumericallyinvestigatedforthehybridAlGaInAs/InPonsiliconmicroringlaserswithdifferentringradiiandwidths.Lowthresholdcurrentandlowactiveregiontemperatureriseareexpectedforamicroringlaserwithanarrowringwidth.Basedonthethermalanalysisandthe3Dsimulationformodecharacteristics,ahybridAlGaInAs/InPonsiliconmicroringlaserswithaninnern-electrodelaterallyconfinedbythep-electrodemetalliclayerisfabricatedusinganadhesivebondingtechnique.Athresholdcurrentof4mAisachievedforahybridmicroringlaserwitharadiusof20μmandaringwidthof3.5μmat12°C,andthecorrespondingthresholdcurrentdensityisaslowas1kA∕cm~2.Theinfluenceofthelocationofsiliconwaveguideonoutputperformanceisstudiedexperimentallyforimprovingtheoutputcouplingefficiency.Furthermore,continuous-waveelectricallyinjectedlasingupto55°Cisrealizedforahybridmicroringlaserwitharadiusof30μmandaringwidthof3μm.

  • 简介:HightemperatureoxidationbehavioroftwokindsofnitridebondedSiCbasedrefractorieswasinvestigatedat11001500℃bymeansofX-raydiffractometer,scanningelectronicmicroscopyandthermogravimetry.Theresultsshowthat:(1)withthetemperatureincreasing,theoxidationmassincrementrateofthespecimenincreasesfirstandthendecreases,andoxidationpassivationoccurs;(2)theoxidationresistanceofSiAlONbondedSiCrefractoriesissuperiortothatofSi3N4bondedSiCrefractories;(3)hightemperatureoxidationresultsintheincreaseofcompressivestrengthatroomtemperatureofSiCbasedrefractoriescomparedwithspecimenbeforeoxidation;thecompressivestrengthofSiAlONbondedSiCspecimensoxidizedathightemperaturesdecreaseswiththeincreaseofthetemperatureasaresultofformationandburstofsurfacebubble,whilethedecreaseofcompressivestrengthofSi3N4bondedSiCspecimensoxidizedathightemperaturesisowingtotheincreaseoftheconsistencyofnet-likecrackassociatedwithcristobalitetransformationduringcooling.

  • 简介:Thermalshockresistantpropertiesofreactionsinteredbauxite-basedβ-Sialonbondedcorundumhavebeeninvestigated,andtheresultsarecomparedwiththoseofAl2O3basedcounterpart.Itisfoundtheyallhaveverygoodthermalshockresistance.Theirresidualstrengthratiosafteronethermalshockcycleat△T=1200℃and△T=1350℃are61%~73%and53%~65%respectively.Theircriticaltemperaturedifference(TSR)is600℃~800℃.TSRparametersarecalculatedbasedonthermalexpansion,modulusofelasticity,andfracturetoughnessdetermined.ThereasonsforimprovingTSRofthesecompositematerialsarediscussed.
