  • 简介:Identificationofmodalparametersofalinearstructurewithoutput-onlymeasurementshasreceivedmuchattentionoverthepastdecades.Inthepaper,theNaturalExcitationTechnique(NExT)isusedforacquisitionoftheimpulsesignalsfromthestructuralresponses.ThenEigensystemRealizationAlgorithm(ERA)isutilizedformodalidentification.(SAMFM),isdevelopedtodistinguishthetruemodesfromnoisemodes,andtoimprovetheprecisionoftheidentifiedmodalfrequenciesofthestructure.Anoffshoreplatformismodeledwiththefiniteelementmethod.Thetheoreticalmodalparametersareobtainedforacomparisonwiththeidentifiedvalues.ThedynamicresponsesoftheplatformunderrandomwaveloadingarecomputedforprovidingtheoutputsignalsusedforidentificationwithERA.Resultsofsimulationdemonstratethattheproposedmethodcandeterminethesystemmodalfrequencywithhighprecision.

  • 简介:Amethodofobtainingbottombackscatteringstrengthbyemployinganomnidirectionalprojectorandomnidirectionalhydrophoneisproposed.Thebackscatteringstrengthisextractedfrommonostaticbackscatteringdata.ThemethodwasadoptedinanexperimentconductedintheSouthYellowSeaofChina.Theseafloorsurfacewasrelativelysmoothandcoveredbyasmallquantityofshellfragments,asobservedthroughadigitalcamerasystem.Samplingdatashowedthatthemaincomponentofthesedimentatthisexperimentalsitewasfinesand.Inthispaper,wedetailthecalculationmethod.Preliminaryresultsofbackscatteringstrengthasafunctionofgrazingangle(20°–70°)inthefrequencyrangeof6–24kHzarepresented.Themeasuredbackscatteringstrengthincreasedwiththegrazingangleandchangedmorerapidlyatlargegrazingangles(60°–70°).Acomparisonofthedataatdifferentfrequenciesrevealsthatthemeasuredbackscatteringstrengthsubstantiallyriseswiththeincreaseofacousticfrequency.AfittingcurveofLambert’slawagainstthemeasureddatashowsthatthebackscatteringstrengthdeviatesfromLambert’slawatlargegrazingangles.

  • 简介:OnthebasisoftherandomamplifiedpolymorphicDNA-fingerprinting(RAPD)method,10morphospeciesofscuticociliatesfrom7genera,including15clonesof13strains,Uronemarnarinum,Uronemacfmarinum,Parauronernavirginianum,P.longurn,Metanophryssimilis,M.sinensis,Paralembusdigitiformis,Mesanophryscarcini,ParanophrysmagnaandCohnilembusverminuswereanalysedusing8oligonucleotideprimers.Thegeneticsimilarityamongtheclonesofthesamestrainmeasuredbyaband-sharingindexis0.97~0.98,while0.40~0.52amongstrains.Thisvaluemeasuredis0.39~0.46amongcongenersofthesamegenus,whereas0.16~0.47betweendifferentgenera.Adistancetreewasconstructedbasedon8-primeranalysis,inwhichthescuticociliatesinvestigatedwereseparatedintotwoclusters:oneconsistsof2genera,UronemaandParauronema,andtheotherwascomposedoffive,Metanophrys,Mesanophrys,Paranophrys,ParalembusandCohnilembus.ItisdemonstratedalsothatthemorphospeciesParauronemavirginianummaybeaspecies-complex,i.e.,itcontainsdifferentgenospecies.

  • 简介:Asloshingmitigationconcepttakingadvantageoffloatinglayersofsolidfoamelementsisproposedinthepresentstudy.Physicalexperimentsarecarriedoutinaliquidtanktoinvestigatethehydrodynamicmechanismofthisconcept.Effectsofthefoam-layerthickness,excitationamplitude,andexcitationfrequencyonthesloshingpropertiesareanalyzedindetail.Itisfoundthatthefloatinglayersofsolidfoamelementsdonotevidentlyaffectthefundamentalnaturalsloshingfrequencyoftheliquidtankevidentlyamongtheconsideredcases.Attheresonantcondition,themaximumwaveheightanddynamicpressurearegreatlyreducedasthefoam-layerthicknessincreases.Higher-orderpressurecomponentsonthetanksidegraduallyvanishwiththeincreaseofthefoam-layerthickness.Caseswithdifferentexcitationamplitudesarealsoanalyzed.Thephenomenonisobservedwhenthewavebreakinginthetankcanbesuppressedbysolidfoamelements.

  • 简介:Tigerpuffer(Takifugurubripes)isapromisingspeciesforaquacultureproductionbecauseofitshighvalueandlimitedsupply.However,inthenorthofChina,usingseacagestoculturethisspeciesinwinterishamperedbythefactthattheseawatertemperatureisextremelylow.Here,alargescalecommercialproductionoftigerpufferhasbeensuccessfullyrealizedusingarecirculatingaquaculturesystem(RAS)from3October2012to31May2013.TheRASwascomprisedofnineculturetanks(totalwatervolume200m3)andstockedwithapproximatelyatotalof14400fish(initialmeanweight160g).Thetigerpufferwashand-fedatarateof0.7%oftotalbodyweightperday,andthefeedconversionratewas(1.21±0.3)kgkg?1.TherecyclewaterinRASwastreatedbyasievebendscreen,afoamfractionator,asubmergedbiofilter,anUVsterilizerandasubmersibleaerator.Duringthewholecultureperiod,anexcellentwaterqualitycontrolwasachievedinRAS.Attheendofthisexperiment,thesurvivalrateoftigerpufferwasmorethan98%.Thefinaltankdensitiesaveraged31.2kgm?3,andthefinalindividualmeanweightwas440g.

  • 简介:InordertoquantitativelyevaluatethespuriousdianeutralmixinginaglobaloceanmodelMPAS-Ocean(ModelforPredictionAcrossScales)usingasphericalcentroidalvoronoitessellationsdevelopedjointlybytheNationalCenterforAtmosphericResearchandtheLosAlamosNationalLaboratoryintheUnitedStates,wechoosez*verticalcoordinatesysteminMPAS-Ocean,inwhichallphysicalmixingprocesses,suchasconvectionadjustmentandexplicitdiffusionparameterschemes,areomitted,usingalinearequationofstate.BycalculatingtheReferencePotentialEnergy(RPE),frontrevolutionposition,timerateofRPEchange,probabilitydensityfunctiondistributionanddimensionlessparameterχ,fromtheperspectivesofresolution,viscosity,HorizontalGridReynoldsNumber(HGRN),Re?,andmomentumtransmissionscheme,usingtwoidealcases,overflowandbarocliniceddychannel,wequalitativelyanalyzethesimulationresultsbycomparisonwiththethreenon-isopycnalmodelsinIlicaketal.(2012),i.e.,MITGCM,MOM,andROMS.TheresultsshowthatthespuriousdianeutralmixingintheMPAS-Oceanincreasesovertime.ThespuriousdianeutraltransportisproportionaltotheHGRNdirectlyandisreducedbyincreasingthelateralviscosityorusingafinerresolutiontocontrolHGRN.WhentheHGRNislessthan10,spurioustransportisreducedsignificantly.Whenusingtheproperviscosityclosure,MPAS-OceanperformsbetterthanMITGCMandMOM,closelytoROMS,inthe2Dcasewithoutrotation,andmuchbetterthantheabove-mentionedthreeoceanmodelsundertheconditionof3Dspacewithrotationduetothecellareadifferencebetweenthehexagoncellandthequadrilateralcellwiththesameresolution.BoththeZalesak(1979)fluxcorrectedtransportschemeandLeithclosureinMPAS-Oceanplayanexcellentroleinreducingspuriousdianeutralmixing.TheperformanceofLeithschemeispreferabletotheconditionofthree-dimensionalbarocliniceddy.

  • 简介:Pointabsorberwaveenergydevicewithmultipledegreesoffreedom(DOF)isassumedtohaveabetterabsorptionabilityofmechanicalenergyfromoceanwaves.Inthispaper,acoaxialsymmetricarticulatedpointabsorberwaveenergyconverterwithtwodegreesoffreedomispresented.Themechanicalequationsoftheoscillationbuoywithpowertake-offmechanism(PTO)inregularwavesareestablished.Thethree-dimensionalnumericalwavetankisbuiltinconsiderationofthebuoymotionbasedupontheCFDmethod.Theappropriatesimulationelementsareselectedforthebuoyandwaveparameters.ThefeasibilityoftheCFDmethodisverifiedthroughthecontrastbetweenthenumericalsimulationresultsoftypicalwaveconditionsandtestresults.Insuchcase,thebuoywithsingleDOFofheave,pitchandtheircouplingmotionconsideringfree(noPTOdamping)anddampedoscillationsinregularwavesaresimulatedbyusingtheverifiedCFDmethodrespectively.Thehydrodynamicandwaveenergyconversioncharacteristicswithtypicalwaveconditionsareanalyzed.Thenumericalresultsshowthattheheaveandpitchcanaffecteachotherinthebuoycouplingmotion,hydrodynamicloads,waveenergyabsorptionandflowfield.ThetotalcapturewidthratiowithtwocoupledDOFmotionishigherthanthatwithasingleDOFmotion.ThewaveenergyconversionofacertainDOFmotionmaybehigherthanthatofthesinglecertainDOFmotioneventhoughthewaveisattheresonanceperiod.Whenthewaveperiodsarehighenough,theinteractionbetweenthecoupledDOFmotionscanbeneglected.

  • 简介:Thisstudyaimstoexploregenerationmechanismsoftheoceaninternalwaveusingthedynamicalanalysismethodsbasedonlineartheories.Historicalcruisemeasurementsandrecentsyntheticapertureradar(SAR)observationsofmesoscaleeddieswithdiameterofseveraltensofkilometerstohundredsofkilometersshowthattheinternalwavepacketswithwavelengthofhundredsofmeterstokilometerexistinsidethemesoscaleeddies.Thiscoexistencephenomenonandinherentlinksbetweenthetwodifferentscaleprocessesarerevealedinthesolutionsofgoverningequationsandboundaryconditionsfortheinternalwavedisturbancewithahorizontallyslowlyvariableamplitudeinacylindricalcoordinatesystem.Thetheoreticalsolutionsindicatethattheinstabilityofeddycurrentfieldprovidesthedynamicalmechanismtointernalwavegeneration.Thederiveddispersionrelationindicatesthattheinternalwavepropagationismodifiedbytheeddycurrentfieldstructure.Theenergyequationoftheinternalwavesclearlyshowstheinternalwaveenergyincrementcomesfromtheeddy.Thetheoreticalmodelsareusedtoexplaintheobservationofthemesoscaleeddy-inducedinternalwavesofftheNorwegiancoast.Thetwo-dimensionalwaveformsolutionoftheanticycloniceddy-inducedinternalwavepacketappearsasring-shapedcurves,whichcontainsthetypicalfeaturesofeddystreamlines.ThecomparisonoftheoreticalsolutionstothestructureoftheinternalwavepacketsonSARimageshowsagoodagreementonthemajorfeatures.

  • 简介:Metalpollutioninaquaticecosystemsisofimmenseimportance.Undervariousenvironmentcircumstances,themetalcontentsofsedimentscanenterintotheoverlyingwaterbodyleadingtoseveretoxicity.ThisstudyaimstodeterminemetalconcentrationsinsedimentsofAnzaliInternationalWetlandinIran.Chemicalpartitioningmethodisusedtodeterminetheportionofanthropogenicpollutionandthemobilitypotentialofeachmetal.Theintensityofmetalpollutioninsedimentsofthewetlandisassessedusingthreereliableindices.TheresultsofchemicalpartitioningrevealthatcadmiumbearthehighestriskofbeingreleasedintotheaquaticenvironmentandhighamountofmanganeseinsulfidebondphaseimpliestheinitiationofredoxstateinaquaticenvironmentoftheAnzaliWetland.TheresultsofchemicalpartitioningstudiesshowthatPb,Cd,MnandAshavethehighestanthropogenicportion.Clusteranalysisalsoconfirmstheresultsofchemicalpartitioningandindicatesthatthementionedmetalscanbeoriginatedfromanthropogenicsources.Sedimentpollutionindices,including,I_geo,I_POLL,andm-ERM-Qrevealthatmetalsareintherangeoflowtomoderatepollutionandalsoshowthatthehighestmetalpollutionisintheeasternandcentralpartsofthewetland.Thiscanbeascribedtoriverswhicharetherecipientofindustrial,agriculturalandmunicipalwastewatersandflowintothesepartsofthewetland.

  • 简介:AnewanalyticalmethodusingBack-Propagation(BP)artificialneuralnetworkandkineticspectrophotometryforsimultaneousdeterminationofironandmagnesiumintapwater,theYellowRiverwaterandseawaterisestablished.Byconditionalexperiments,theoptimumanalyticalconditionsandparametersareobtained.Levenberg-Marquart(L-M)algorithmisusedforcalculationinBPneuralnetwork.Thetopologicalstructureofthree-layerBPANNnetworkarchitectureischosenas15-16-2(nodes).Theinitialvalueofgradientcoefficientμisfixedat0.001andtheincreasefactorandreductionfactorofμtakethedefaultvaluesofthesystem.ThedataareprocessedbycomputerswithourownprogramswritteninMATLAB7.0.Therelativestandarddeviationofthecalculatedresultsforironandmanganeseis2.30%and2.67%respectively.Theresultsofstandardadditionmethodshowthatforthetapwater,therecoveriesofironandmanganeseareintherangesof98.0%-104.3%and96.5%-104.5%,andtheRSDisintherangeof0.23%-0.98%;fortheYellowRiverwater(LijindistrictofShandongProvince),therecoveriesofironandmanganeseareintherangesof96.0%-101.0%and98.7%-104.2%,andtheRSDisintherangeof0.13%-2.52%;fortheseawaterinQingdaooffshore,therecoveriesofironandmanganeseareintherangesof95.3%-104.8%and95.3%-104.7%,andtheRSDisintherangeof0.14%-2.66%.Itisfoundthat21commoncationsandanionsdonotinterferewiththedeterminationofironandmanganeseundertheoptimumexperimentalconditions.Thismethodexhibitsgoodreproducibilityandhighaccuracyinthedeterminationofironandmanganeseandcanbeusedforthesimultaneousdeterminationofironandmanganeseintapwaterandnaturalwater.ByusingtheestablishedANN-catalyticspectrophotometricmethod,theironandmanganeseconcentrationsofthesurfaceseawaterat11sitesinQingdaooffshorearedeterminedandtheleveldistributionmapsofironandmanganesearedrawn.
