Environment and Personal Well-being in Urban China-中国期刊网

摘要 Theaimofthisstudyistoexaminetherelationshipbetweenenvironmentandpersonalwell-beingusingasampleof562urbanemployeesfromthreecitiesinLiaoningprovinceinthePeople'sRepublicofChina.Incontrasttopreviousstudies,thisstudycontrolledpositiveaffectivity(PA),negativeaffectivity(NA),jobsatisfactionandBigFivepersonalitytraits.Inaddition,theresearchvariablesofpersonalwell-beingindex(PWI),positiveaffectivity,negativeaffectivity,jobsatisfaction,BigFive,andenvironmentalsatisfactionaremeasuredwithmulti-itemscales.Theresearchfindsthatenvironmentalsatisfactionispositivelyrelatedtopersonalwell-being,suggestingthatimprovementofthenaturalsurroundingsinthecitiescanimprovepeople'swell-being.
