Modeling on monitoring the growth and rupture assessment of saccular aneurysms

摘要 Theunpredictableruptureofsaccularaneurysmsespeciallyoftheintracerebralaneurysmisaknottyproblemthatalwaysresultsinhighmortality.Traditionaldiagnosisofmedicalimages,whichgivestheaneurysmsizeandcompareswithaspeculatedcriticalsizefromclinicalstatistics,wasdemonstratedinadequatetoforecastingrupture.Here,weproposeanewdetectingstrategythatusesadielectricelastomer(DE)capacitancesensortomonitorthegrowthofsaccularaneurysmsanddeliverboththewallstressandgeometricparameters.Basedontheelasticgrowththeorytogetherwiththefinitedeformationanalyses,thecorrelationbetweenthereal-timeoutputcapacitanceoftheDEsensorandthewallstressand/orgeometryofananeurysmisderived.Comparedtoclinicstatisticsandbiomechanicssimulations,thewallstressandgeometricsizemaybeusedascombinedindicatorstoassesstheruptureriskofasaccularaneurysm.Numericalresultsshowthatanoutputrelativecapacitanceof30indicatesahighriskofrupture.Finally,thesensitivityandresolutionoftheDEsensorareprovedadequatelyhighformonitoringthegrowthstateandevaluatingtheruptureriskofasaccularaneurysm.
