A novel Scheme based on minimum delay at the edges for optical burst switching networks-中国期刊网

摘要 Thispaperproposesanovelschemebasedonminimumdelayattheedges(MDE)foropticalburstswitching(OBS)networks.ThisschemeisdesignedtoovercomethelongdelayattheedgenodesofOBSnetworks.TheMDEschemefeaturessimultaneousburstassembly,channelscheduling,andpre-transmissionofcontrolpacket.Italsofeaturesestimatedsetupandexplicitrelease(ESXR)signalingprotocol.TheMDEschemecanminimizethedelayattheedgenodesfordatapackets,andimprovetheend-to-endlatencyperformanceforOBSnetworks.Inaddition,comparingwiththeconventionalscheme,theperformancesoftheMDEschemeareanalyzedinthispaper.
