A novel contention solution strategy based on priority for optical burst switching networks-中国期刊网

摘要 Afundamentalissueinopticalburstswitching(OBS)networksistosolvetheburstcontentionforthecorenode.Inthispaper,anovelpriority-basedcontentionsolutionstrategyforOBSnetworksisproposed.Whenthecontentionoccurs,theburstpriorityisconsideredfirstly,andthentheburstsegmentationmethodisusedforthelowpriorityburstsinthisstrategy.Ensuringtheintegrityofhighprioritybursts,partofthesegmentedburstscanbetransmittedtothedestinationnodeviacombiningwavelengthconversionandopticalbuffermethod.Simulationresultsshowthattheproposedschemenotonlyensurestheintegrityofhighprioritybursts,butalsoreducesthepacketlossrateofthelowpriorityburstsmaximally,sothatitcansupportgoodqualityofservice(QoS)forthenetwork.
