Energy of Grain Boundaries of Different Type in fcc Solid Solutions,Ordered Alloys and Intermetallics with L12 Superstructure

摘要 Thestudyofthetriplejunctionsofthegrainboundariesinsomefccsolidsolutions,orderedalloysandintermetallicswithL12hasbeencarriedoutusingtheopticalmetallographyandTEMmethods.Two-typesofthetriplejunctionswerefoundinthealloysinvestigated(1),consistingoftheboundariesoftherandom(RT),and(2),consistingoftheRTboundaryandthespecialboundaries(ST).TherelativevaluesoftheRTandSTboundaryenergyweredeterminedonthebasisofthemeasurementsoftheanglesbetweenthegrainboundaryplanes.IthasbeenshownthattheenergyofSTboundariesincreaseswiththeincreaseofthestackingfault(SF)energy.TheenergyoftheRTboundariesdoesnotdependontheSFenergy.
