摘要
Thespectrumvariancem0,peakfrequencyω0andpeaknessfactorpareexpressedintermsofnondimensionalfetchanddurationbymakinguseofrelationswhicharederivedthroughcomparingandanalyzingexistingempiricalformulasforthegrowthofsignificantwaveheightandperiod.ThemainfeaturesofspectrumgrowthasspecifiedbytheseparametersagreewiththoseoftheJONS-WAPexperiments.Forgivenwindspeedandfetch,thehighfrequencypartsbeyondthepeaksofshallowwaterspectraalmostcoincidewiththatofthecorrespondingdeepwaterspectrum,whereasthelowfrequencypartsdifferappreciably.ThemethoddevelopedinthispaperpredictssmallersignificantwaveheightaswellassmallerwaveperiodforshallowwaterspectraincontrasttothetheoreticalresultofKitaigorodskiiefal,inwhichthepeakfrequency,andconsequentlythesignificantwaveperiod,remainsbasicallyunchangedfordifferentwaterdepths.Spectraarefurtherreducedtoaforminwhichonlysignificantwaveh
