Smoothing Newton-Like Method for the Solution of Nonlinear Systems of Equalities and Inequalities-中国期刊网

摘要 Inthispaper,wepresentasmoothingNewton-likemethodforsolvingnonlinearsystemsofequalitiesandinequalities.Byusingtheso-calledmaxfunction,wetransfertheinequalitiesintoasystemofsemismoothequalities.ThenasmoothingNewton-likemethodisproposedforsolvingthereformulatedsystem,whichonlyneedstosolveonesystemoflinearequationsandtoperformonelinesearchateachiteration.Theglobalandlocalquadraticconvergencearestudiedunderappropriateassumptions.Numericalexamplesshowthatthenewapproachiseffective.
