Astheworld’sauthoritativeorganizationonenergyinformation,theInternationalEnergyAgency(IEA),whichwasfoundedin1974,releasesKeyWorldEnergyStatisticseveryyearfrom1997(hereinafterreferredtoasthe"KeyData").The"KeyData"releasedin2007announcedthe2005statistics,andalsoprovidedthe1973statisticsforcomparison.Fromthepublisheddata,wecanclearlyfindthedevelopmentpathandtrendoftheworldenergyandpowerindustry.Also,China’sstrongdevelopmentmomentum,high-speedgrowthofenergyconsumptionandtheenormouschallengesinthesustainableenergysupplyareespeciallynoticeable.Thispaperreviewedthe"KeyData"toperceiveChina’sEnergyDevelopment.Theanalysisandinterpretationofthesedataarepurelyfromtheauthor’spointofview.
