一、设计理念
通过生日贺卡的制作、书写,让学生积极参与到语言的运用情景之中,体验合作交流的乐趣,体验跨文化交际的异同,体验成功的喜悦。同时,让整个教学环节体现出:教师是教学的主导,学生是教学的主体,实践是教学的主线,创新与运用是教学的目标,学生的全面发展和能力提高是教学的核心;让知识在和谐的课堂氛围中落实,让能力在实实在在的语言运用中得到提升,让语言应用习惯在实际生活中逐渐养成。
二、教材分析
1、教材简析
本单元介绍了加拿大和中国秋季的节日,如感恩节、中秋节以及生日的庆祝活动,学习表示庆祝的词汇和句型。单元教学目标主要让学生对不同国家的节日对比,让学生了解异国文化的不同,认识到跨文化交际的重要性。Lesson22是第六课时,属于实践演练为主的课型。

三、学情分析
八年级学生是一个特殊学段的学生,有了一定的英语学习习惯但须巩固,他们有了一定的认知能力和语言基础,但需要进一步扎实和提升,但是由于学生学习程度有一定的差异,更需要生动有趣的、有针对性的分层教学和任务型教学。
