简介:Vibrationofacircularmembraneincontactwithafluidhasextensiveapplicationsinindustry.Thenaturalvibrationfrequenciesfortheasymmetricfreevibrationofacircularmembraneincontactwithaboundedincompressiblefluidarederivedinthispaper.Consideringsmalloscillationsinducedbythemembranevibrationinanincompressibleandinviscidfluid,thevelocitypotentialfunctionisusedtodescribethefluidfield.Twoapproachesareusedtoderivethefreevibrationfrequenciesofthesystem,whichincludeavariationalformulationandanapproximatesolutionemployingtheRayleighquotientmethod.Agoodcorrelationisfoundbetweenfreevibrationfrequenciesevaluatedbythesemethods.Finally,theeffectsofthefluiddepth,themassdensity,andtheradialtensiononthefreevibrationfrequenciesofthecoupledsystemareinvestigated.
简介:Aneigenvaluemethodconsideringthemembranevibrationofwrinklingout-of-planedeformationisintroduced,andthestressdistributingruleinmembranewrinkledareaisanalyzed.Adynamicanalyticalmodelofrectangularshearwrinkledmembraneanditsnumericalanalysisapproacharealsodeveloped.Resultsindicatethatthestressinwrinkledareaisnotuniform,i.e.itislargerinwrinklingwavepeaksalongwrinklesandtwoendsofwrinkleinverticaldirection.Vibrationmodesofwrinkledmembranearestronglycorrelatedwiththewrinklingconfigurations.Therigidityislargerduetotheheavierstressinthepartofwrinklingwavepeaks.Therefore,wavepeaksarealwayslocatedatthenodelinesofvibrationmode.Thevibrationfrequencyobviouslyincreaseswiththevibrationofwavepeaks.

简介:Waterisanimportantcomponentinplantcellswithplantaquaporinbeingthemajorproteinforwatertransportinandbetweenplantcells.Asasubfamilyofplantaquaporins,theplasmamembraneintrinsicproteins(PIPs)locatedintheplasmamembraneareclassic,highwater,selectivechannelproteins.ThispaperfocusesonrecentadvancesinthemolecularbiologyofPIPsconcerningstructuralcharacteristics,biologicalfunction,andaregulationmechanism.PIPspossesstwohighlyconserveddomains:GGGANXXXXGYandTGI/TNPARSL/FGAAI/VI/VFWF/YN.PIPscanalsobedividedintotwophylogeneticsubgroupsnamedPIP1andPIP2.PIP1possesseslongerNterminalsequencesandshorterCterminalsequencesthanPIP2withconservedaminoacidsequencesrespectively.StudiesoftransgenicplantsandexpressioninXenopusoocytescellsindicatethatPIPsnotonlymayfacilitatetransportofwaterandsmallneutralsoluteslikeCO2andglycerin,buttheyalsopossessmanyphysiologicalfunctions.Thefunctionsofplantaquaporinsareregulatedbymanyfactorsincludingpost-translationalmodification,heteromerization,pHvalue,anddivalentcations.TheseresultsindicatedthatPIPsactasapivotalroleinwaterandsmallneutralsolutestransportinplants.
简介:ObjectiveTheaimofthisstudyistoinvestigatetheeffectoftransfectedhTERTgeneoncellapoptosisofnewbornratcochlearbasilarmembranecells(CBMCs).MethodsCBMCsisolatedfromnewbornratcochlearweretransfectedusingaplasmidcontaininghumantelomerasereverasetranscriptasegene(pCI-neo-hTERT),andwerescreenedusingG418toobtainstabletransfectedcelllines.Cellapoptosisratewasanalyzedbyflowcytometry.hTERTandapoptosisrelatedgenesexpressionweredetectedbyreversetranscriptasepolymerasechainreaction(RT-PCR).ResultshTERTgeneexpressionwasdetected72hoursaftergenetransfectionintransfectedcells.TheapoptoticrateoftransfectedCBMCssignificantlyreduced.Expressionofapoptosisrelatedgenescorrespondinglychanged.ConclusionTransfectionofhTERTgeneleadstoreducedapoptosisrateinnewbornratCBMCs.andlowerexpressionofapaf1,Caspase3andBCL2intransfectedcellsascomparedtothatofnormalCBMCs.
