简介:Thispaperextendstheresourcedragstudiesbyempiricallyinvestigatinghowspatialfactorsaffecttheregionaleconomicgrowth.Usingspatialpaneleconometricmodels,thispaperestimatesthedraggingeffectofenergyresourcesoftheYangtzeRiverDeltametropolitanareas.WefindthatthegrowthdragofenergyintheYangtzeRiverDeltaisabout6%onaverage,whichmeansthatenergyconstraintsdecreasetheeconomicgrowthby6%annually,higherthanthenationallevelthathasbeenpreviouslymeasuredintheliterature.Thisresulthastakenintoaccounttheimpactofneighboringcities’economicdevelopment,soastoobtainamoreaccurateestimate.Basedonthesemeasurementresults,weproposesomepolicyrecommendations.

简介:Thelowfrequencycyclicaltransientnaturalconvectioninacubeenclosurewithaninternalisolatedverticalheatedplatewasinvestigatedexperimentally.Acomputer-aidedexperimentalsystemwasdesignedtogeneratethecyclicalheatingpowerinputandalsousedfordatareduction.Theeffectsofthecyclicheatingpowerinputamplitude(from0to8W)andfrequency(form1/5400s^-1to1/600s^-1)aswellastheper-cycletime-averagepowerinput(from8to24W)onthetransientandtime-averageNusseltnumberwereparametricallystudied.Itwasfoundthatforsuchcyclicaltransientnaturalconvectionwithlowfrequency,theplateheatingpowerinputamplitudeandfrequencyhavelittleeffectsonthetime-averageNusseltnumberaslongasthecyclicaltime-averageheatingpowerinputremainsthesame,althoughthetransientNusseltnumbermaybesignificantlyaffected.Therefore,themodifiedGrashofnumberbasedontheplateaverageheatfluxcanbeusedtocharacterizethetime-averageheattransferprocess.Theplatetime-averageNusseltnumberisabout15%lessthantheinfinite-spaceNusseltnumber,Thelocationoftheisolatedplateinenclosuredoesnotappreciablyinfluencethetime-averageheattransfercharacteristicsoftheplate.
简介:TheGarouaZoneinNorthCameroon,thesubjectofthisstudy,isknowntohaveundergonetectonicmovementsduringtheCretaceous,butthezone’sstructuraldataremainpoorlyknown.ThisstudyexploitstheBougueranomalytoimproveknowledgeofGarouatectonicsstructures.Inordertocharacterizethesestructures,twomethodsareused:Euler’sdeconvolutionmethodandthemethodofthehorizontalgradientoftheverticalderivative.SuperpositionoftheEuler’ssolutionsmapforindexN=1withthemapfromthehorizontalgradientoftheverticalderivativemethodallowsdeterminationofgravimetriclineaments,interpretedasfaultsoraslinearcontacts,fromwhichwededuceastructuralmapofthestudyarea.Basedonthismap,weidentifysixteenlineaments,ofwhichwecounteightaslinearcontactsandeightasfaults.Amongthefaults,wedenoteoneofdepthbetween4and8km,fivefaultsofdepthrangingbetween8and13km,andtwofaultsofdepthsbetween13and36km.Analysisofthesefaultsshowsthatthesevendeepestfaultsmightpresentanaturalriskinourstudyarea.Forpurposesofcivilprotection,suchdeepfaultsshouldbemonitoredandtakenintoconsiderationintheimplementationoflargepublicworks.Thestructuralmap,establishedhereinfromdataonthein-depthextensionofeachfault,thusincreasesscientificknowledgeintheareathatcanbeusedtositepublicworksinwaysthatreducerisk.

简介:Thechangesofmicrobialbiomasscarbon(MBC)andnitrogen(MBN)andmicrobialcommunityinthetopsoiloftheabandonedagriculturallandonthesemi-aridLoessPlateauinChinaduringthenaturalsuccessionwereevaluatedtounderstandtherelationshipbetweenmicrobialcommunityandsoilproperties.MBCandMBNweremeasuredusingfumigationextraction,andmicrobialcommunitywasanalyzedbythemethodoffattyacidmethylester(FAME).ThecontentsoforganicC,totalN,MBC,MBN,totalFAME,fungalFAME,bacterialFAMEandGram-negativebacterialFAMEatthenaturalsuccessionsiteswerehigherthanthoseoftheagriculturalland,butlowerthanthoseofthenaturalvegetationsites.TheMBC,MBNandtotalFAMEwerecloselycorrelatedwithorganicCandtotalN.Furthermore,organicCandtotalNwerefoundtobepositivelycorrelatedwithfungalFAME,bacterialFAME,fungal/bacterialandGram-negativebacterialFAME.Naturalsuccessionwouldbeusefulforimprovingsoilmicrobialpropertiesandmightbeanimportantalternativeforsustainingsoilqualityonthesemi-aridLoessPlateauinChina.

简介:IthasbeenrevealedthatpolyⅠ:CisapotentstimulatorforNKcells,whichcaninduceNKcellrapidactivationandpreferentialaccumulationintoliver.However,theprocessmediatingtheinfluxofNKcellsremainsobscure.Inthisstudy,wefoundthatpolyⅠ:CadministrationincreasedtheportionandabsolutenumberofNKcellsinliver,butlargelydecreasedthoseinspleen.Therewerenoobviouschangesoftheselymphocytesinotherimmuneorgans.TheresultsfromsplenicadoptivetransferandsplenectomyshowedthattherecruitedspleenNKcellscontributedtotheaccumulationofNKcellsinliver,andthisprocesswasregulatedbytheproductionofchemokinesandthepresenceofTcells.Thisinvestigationwillhelptounderstandtheenhancedimmunecellrecruitmentinliveruponviralinfection.
