摘要
Introduction:Mostcochlearimplantsarecurrentlycompatiblewithmagneticresonanceimaging(MRI)upto3T.Nevertheless,thisdoesnotcompletelyeliminatetheriskofseriousaccidents.Implantdisplacementsandotheradverseeventswithcompatibleimplantshavebeenreportedintheliterature.Casereports:AmongthesixpatientswhohadMRIafterreceivingimplantsatourcenter,wereportthreecaseswithadverseeventsrelatedtotheexamination.Thefirstcasewascomplicatedbymagnetdisplacementwithpartialdemagnetization.Thesecondcaseshowedtotaldemagnetization,whichnecessitatedremovalandreimplantationoftheimplant.ThethirdcaseinvolvedseverepainsensationwhichdisruptedtheMRIscan.Thesmallestartifactwasfoundwith3DMRIangiography,andlargestartifactwasfoundwithdiffusionandT2FLASH.Discussion:MovingthepatientintotheMRIapparatusmustbesupervisedbyanotorhinolaryngologyspecialistoranexperiencedradiologist.Itisimportanttoconsiderthemagneticfielddirections,sothatanglebetweentheimplantmagneticfieldsandtheMRIB0alwaysremainslessthanorequalto90°.Inaddition,werecommendtheuseofan"arrowdrawing"tofacilitatetheorientationofthemagneticfielddirections.Furthermore,topreventmagnetdisplacement,werecommendsystematicuseofaprotectivesplintinadditiontobandaging.
