Ahybridanalysismethodintimeandfrequencydomainsforlinearsoil-structureinteractionispresented.First,thetimedomainsolutionofthesystemwithRayleighdampingexcitedbyashorttimeimpulseisobtainedbythedecouplingnumericalsimulationtechniqueofnear-fieldwavemotion.Then,thecorrespondingfrequencydomainsolutioncanbegotbyFouriertransform.Accordingtotherelationshipbetweendampingvalueanddynamicre-sponseofasystem,thesolutionofthesystemwithcomplexdampingcanbegotbyTaylorexpansion.Thehybridmethodmakesthebestofdecouplingandexplicitalgorithmintimedomain,andincreasesthecalculationefficien-cyforlinearsoil-structureinteractionanalysis.
